This recipe was shared with me by my daughter’s preschool a few years back. It won’t win any awards for its complexity or creativity, but it won an award in my heart. This little recipe has already brought cozy, special memories into our home, and now I hope you can have this same experience.

I can remember my little 4-year-old girl and I making this at home. It was our special thing we did, and she thought it was pretty neat because the recipe came from her school. This simple homemade applesauce recipe is something we still make together, and I know we always will.

Furthermore, this recipe has become a tradition of ours to make on Thanksgiving Day. Above all, that is a great day to try it, because this simple homemade applesauce recipe pairs perfectly with your Thanksgiving meal!
